Invitrogen™ Human CXCL12 (SDF-1a) Recombinant Protein
Recombinant Protein
Brand: Invitrogen™ RP8658
Code : LE
Additional Details : Weight : 0.01000kg
Description
CXCL12 (human) Recombinant Protein, RP-8658, from Invitrogen.
Stromal cell Derived Growth Factor-1 beta (SDF-1beta), also called CXCL12, is one of two splice variants made by a wide variety of cells when stimulated by inflammatory cytokines such as, TNF, IL-1 or LPS. SDF-1beta signals through the G protein-couple receptor, CXCR4, to recruit activated leukocytes. Human SDF-1beta shares 100% identity to feline SDF-1beta. Recombinant human SDF-1alpha is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 68 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 8 kDa. Purity is typically greater than 98% and endotoxin level less than 1 EU/ug. The expected biological activity (ED50) is determined by the ability to chemoattract human peripheral T cells at 10-75 ng/mL. The specific activity of this protein is 1x10^5 units/mg. Reconstitute using sterile water at 0.1mg/mL and centrifuge prior to opening vial. Gently pipet solution down the sides of the vial. DO NOT VORTEX sample. Store reconstituted material at -20°C and add 0.1% BSA for additional stability. Amino acid sequence: KPVSLSYRCP CRFFESHVAR ANVKHLKILN TPNCALQIVA RLKNNNRQVC IDPKLKWIQE YLEKALNK.Specifications
