Stoppers and Closures

Bottle closures ensure that the contents of jars and bottles are secured for storage or transportation, providing a leak-proof, spill-proof barrier. Available in a variety of types, many with specific applications, common bottle closures include: caps, stoppers, stopcocks and associated accessories, such as O-rings, inserts and septa. Manufactured from numerous materials, bottle closures can are typically made of polypropylene, polyethylene, glass or cork. Bottle closures are available with either an open or closed top, with open top caps closing completely via an insert or through a septa that allow for the addition of supplements. Closed caps come either unlined or with a variety of liners, depending on their intended purpose.
