Biohazardous and Sharps Disposal Containers
Biohazardous and Sharps Disposal Containers
Containers and holders designed specifically to collect biohazardous waste. Available in plastic, metal, and incinerable cardboard. All styles (except wire-frame holders) are clearly marked with the universal biohazard symbol or are bright red in color.
Any waste that may contain potentially contaminated or infectious materials or substances is considered biohazardous or classified as biomedical waste. This includes many sharp products such as needles, blades, glass, and other wastes that can cause injury during handling. Biohazardous or infectious waste may spread disease in humans, animals, and the environment. Examples include certain body fluids, human and animal blood tissue, recombinant DNA, and animal or plant pathogens. Such waste should be identified and separated from general waste and disposed of using suitable bio-waste containers or bags.
Biohazard Waste Bags
Available with or without a warning label. For the economical, safe disposal of contaminated labware, or for autoclave sterilization.
Biohazard Cartons
Used for disposal or incineration of infectious and single-use non-sharps waste.
Sharps Containers
Used for safe disposal of sharp biological/biohazardous materials such as needles, broken glass, recyclables, or other bio waste.
Biohazard Cans and Canisters
Safety waste cans and canisters for storing contaminated products and other regulated waste, as well as dispensing and transporting hazardous materials.
