Description
The H505B ear muff helps reduce exposure to the loud noises associated with welding, cutting or grinding. Its slim design allows it to fit under most welding helmets, particularly 3M™ Speedglas™ 9100 Series Helmets.
3M™ PELTOR™ hygiene kit (HY505) is a hygiene replacement kit for the H505B Welding Ear Muff.
- The HYX3 Hygiene Kit consists of one pair of replacement cushions and foam inserts for 3M™ PELTOR™ X3A and P3E Ear Muffs
- Over-the-head hearing protection with Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 28 dB for moderate to high noise exposure
- 3M recommends replacing ear muff cushions and foam inserts every six months or whenever they become damaged
- Wire headband offers comfortable pressure during prolonged usage
- Ear cups tilt to ensure a customized fit and comfort for individual users
- Electrically insulated (dielectric) wire headband helps reduce exposure to electrical hazards
*The NRR may overestimate the hearing protection provided during typical use. 3M recommends reducing the NRR by 50% for estimating the amount of noise reduction provided. 3M is Leading the Advancement of Hearing Conservation™.
