Description

Caps for headspace vials are available in three different styles: standard, pressure release and magnetic.

The quality of a crimp seal is strongly dependent on the right calibration of the crimping tool used to apply the closure to the vial. A too tight or too loose crimp will impair the quality of the seal. To maintain good results, make sure to re-calibrate your crimping tool regularly and check the quality of the seal every time you crimp.

  • Pressure release seals are characterized by incorporated bridges and score lines, which allow the internal pressure to be released when 3.0 ± 0.5 bar has been exceeded
  • Magnetic seals are compatible with magnetic transport autosamplers
  • Packed in zip-lock PE-bags with tear-off foil strip to ensure tamper-evidence and re-closeability
