Description
D-(+)-Raffinose pentahydrate is used as a carbon source in yeast culture media. It is also used in moisturizers, prevent skin ageing, promotes skin regeneration, additive in low-cariogenic food and drinks, non-digestible with lower efficiency than lactose or sucrose and stimulates the growth of lactobacilli and bifidobacteria.
