The DURAN™ Vacuum Desiccator, with NOVUS standard ground joint (24/29) junction tube in the lid, with stopcock, with flat flange, safely stores moisture-sensitive substances and dries moist products. Made from DURAN™™ borosilicate glass 3.3, it supports full vacuum (0 mbar) for accelerated drying.

  • Vacuum-tight construction made from DURAN™ borosilicate glass 3.3, suitable for full vacuum (0 mbar)
  • NOVUS standard ground joint (NS 24/29) junction tube in the lid enables secure vacuum connection via stopcock
  • High wall-thickness and precisely machined vacuum-tight ground joints allow long-term storage under vacuum
  • Drying agent placed in the lower base section, separated from samples by a sieve plate (metal or porcelain), binds moisture effectively
  • Vacuum can be applied via the stopcock to accelerate the drying process
  • Spare parts including lids, bases, stopcocks and caps are interchangeable across the range (observe DN)
  • Available with or without porcelain plate
