Description

Supports sample prefreezing, lyophilization, stoppering, and flask freeze drying with integrated valves.

  • Stoppering tray dryer and sample freeze-drying with four sample valves
  • Samples for flask- and tray-style freeze-drying can be run at once
  • The chamber pre-freezes samples, eliminating need for separate freezer and product transfer
  • The upright stainless steel collector coil holds 2.5 L of ice before defrosting
  • Two 0.33 hp HCFC/CFC-free, Eco-Cool refrigerant compressors cool the collector to -85°C (-121°F), are suitable for aqueous or dilute acetonitrile samples, and work with a 1000-watt heater to cool and heat fluid medium circulating through shelf channels; not for use with samples containing methanol or ethanol
  • Temperature-controlled shelves range from -55 to 50°C (-67 to 122°F), with a max of -75°C (-103°F) during pre-freezing
  • Shelves provide pneumatic stoppering with a diaphragm, eliminating the need for compressed gas
  • Lyo-Works™ OS provides real-time display of collector temperature and vacuum level on a 5-inch color touchscreen
  • Processing shelf: 12.4 x 14.5 in. (31.5 x 36.8 cm)
  • Spacing between shelf and top of chamber accommodates containers with stoppers up to 148 mm high
  • Stoppering control knob, vacuum release control knob, and 1/8 in. OD user-supplied sterile/inert gas backfill port
  • One probe for monitoring temperature of sample in chamber
  • Controls temperature to ±1°C of set point
  • Data logging stores and displays data in table or graph format and may be exported via USB or Ethernet
  • Settings include language (English, Spanish, French, German, or Italian), security lockout, time, temperature, and vacuum units (mBar, Torr, or Pa)
