Gibco™ Glucose powder is a supplement for cell culture media. Most cell culture media use D-glucose (dextrose) as the cells' main source of metabolic energy and reduced carbon. Gibco™ Glucose powder should be made as a sterile-filtered 20% stock solution (or similar) in distilled water before use.
