Human FKBP12 (residues1-13) Synthetic Peptide, PEP-012, from Invitrogen.

PEP-012 is a 14 amino acid (amino acids 1-13) synthetic peptide whose sequence is from the amino end of the human FKBP12 protein. The sequence of this peptide is (amino to carboxy terminus): G1-V-Q-V-E-T-I-S-P-G-D-G-R13-C (The C-terminal cysteine has been added to facilitate conjugation and is not a part of the native human FKBP12 sequence)This peptide may be used for neutralization and control experiments with the polyclonal antibody that reacts with this product and FKBP12, catalog # PA1-026A. Using a solution with equal weights per unit volume of peptide and corresponding antibody will yield a solution with a large molar excess of peptide that is able to competitively bind the antibody.Reconstitute with 0.1 ml of distilled water.
