Each pEF6/V5-His TOPO TA Expression Kit contains two boxes. The TOPO TA box contains all of the reagents necessary for ligation, including 200ng of topoisomerase I-activated pEF6/V5-His-TOPO vector, sterile water, dNTPs, 10X PCR buffer, salt solution, control templates and primers, primers for sequencing or PCR screening, and an expression control plasmid. The Competent Cell box contains all of the reagents necessary for transformation, including 21 x 50μL aliquots of TOP10 Chemically Competent E. coli, S.O.C. medium, and pUC19 supercoiled control plasmid.

Designed for high-level mammalian expression from the powerful human EF-1 α promoter with the added convenience of one-step TOPO Cloning

  • Enhancer/promoter elements from human elongation factor 1α subunit (hEF-1α) for high-level expression in mammalian cells
  • Vector includes Blasticidin resistance gene for rapid selection of stable mammalian cell lines
  • A C-terminal V5 epitope for efficient detection with an Anti-V5 Antibody
  • A C-terminal polyhistidine (6xHis) sequence for rapid purification with nickel-chelating resin and detection with Anti-His(C-term) Antibody

Store at -80°C. Guaranteed stable for 6 months when properly stored.
