Description

Used for quick and precise sizing of double-stranded DNA fragments from 500 bp to 10.0 kb on agarose gels.

  • Bands stain with approximately the same intensity, except for the 1.0-kb band, which is three times the intensity of the other bands
  • Consists of 11 easily-identifiable bands at 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 8.0, and 10.0 kb when run on a 0.8% agarose ge
  • Not designed for quantitating DNA content in a sample
  • Supplied at 0.5 μg/°l in TE buffer (pH 8.0) in sufficient quantity for 100 loadings using 1 °l per loading after mixing with tracking dye
