Description

Take advantage of 3,3' Diaminobenzidine (DAB), a widely used chromogen for immunohistochemical staining and immunoblotting.

Take advantage of 3,3' Diaminobenzidine (DAB), a widely used chromogen for immunohistochemical staining and immunoblotting with the Thermo Scientific™ Lab Vision™ DAB Plus Substrate Staining System is ideal for automated stainers.

In the presence of peroxidase enzyme, DAB produces a brown precipitate that is insoluble in alcohol.
  • Supplied in a two-component form consisting of a DAB Plus Chromogen and DAB Plus Substrate
  • Standard working dilution is 20μL of DAB Plus Chromogen per 1mL of DAB Plus Substrate, although the ratio can be adjusted as desired
  • Use of liquid components reduces the risk of dust inhalation
  • Prepare only what is needed, eliminating the waste associated with reagents in tablet form
