Description

The Magnetic Separator is a device for separation of magnetic beads from residual solution

  • The Magnetic Separator is a transparent plastic rack with 4 x 12 wells – two rows for 2 ml reaction tubes (left side) and 1.5 ml reaction tubes (right side), respectively.
  • The middle rows contain magnets that are suitable for the separation of Strep-Tactin™XT-coated magnetic beads, MagStrep 'type3' XT beads, within seconds from a solution making the Magnetic Separator a helpful tool for efficient, easy, and fast batch purification of Strep-tag™II and Twin-Strep-tag™ fusion proteins.
  • The separation procedure can be interrupted by placing the reaction tube in one of the correspondent outer rows.
