Invitrogen™ Laurdan (6-Dodecanoyl-2-Dimethylaminonaphthalene)
Description
When the lipophlilic probe laurdan is incorporated into membranes, its fluorescence spectra is sensitive to the physical state of the surrounding phospholipids.
To make a concentrated stock solution of up to 20 mM, dissolve in either DMF or acetonitrile. Store frozen, desiccated and protected from light.
