Description

Connect a vapor trap using the vent port to prevent solvent vapors from escaping

  • The T-series solvent bottle caps help contain vapors and protect lab staff from exposure to toxic fumes.
  • Caps feature a 1/4 in.-28 UNF(F) vent port for connection to a vapor trap, allowing pressure equalization and prevention of solvent vapor escape.
  • Push through 1/8 in. OD semi-rigid tubing for a liquid- and vapor-tight seal or use standard male Luer fittings to connect other tubing sizes.
  • Luer port lets you also connect a syringe for liquid removal.
  • Anti-twist cap design allows the PTFE body to spin freely within the outer cap. No more twisted tubes and no need to disconnect fluid lines before unscrewing the cap.
  • All caps are autoclavable.
  • Use activated carbon vapor traps with 1/4 in.-28 UNF(M) connection to prevent any dangerous solvent from escaping into the laboratory.
  • Traps feature an indicator strip that changes color when saturated.
  • Connect 1/16 in. or 1/8 in. ID flexible tubing or 1/16 in. OD semi-rigid tubing to caps with Luer adapters. Bottle thread adapter converts bottles with S40 threads to accept any GL45 thread caps.
  • Plug any unused ports with a Luer plug to ensure a closed system.
