Measure flat, soft, moist, semi-solid or small volume samples with epoxy body flat surface pH electrodes.

Thermo Scientific™ Orion™ ROSS Flat Surface Electrodes have a uniquely designed, flat sensing bulb that allow for reliable pH measurement on samples such as paper, textiles, skin, meat, cheese, or in agar gel plates.
 

The 8135BN ROSS Combination Flat Surface pH Electrode measures pH of soft, moist surfaces — both solid and semi-solid —such as agar gel plates, meats, bread dough and similar samples. With drift less than 0.002 pH per day and minimized restandardization, this electrode works in extreme cases of samples varying from one another by 50°C or more.

Storage Requirements Short-term Storage (up to one week): Soak the electrode in ROSS' pH electrode storage solution, Cat. No. 810001, or standard pH electrode storage solution, Cat. No. 910001. For enhanced electrode performance, use ROSS' pH electrode storage solution. Long-term Storage (more than one week): Fill the reference chamber and securely cover the fill hole. Cover the sensing bulb and reference junction with the protective cap, sleeve or storage bottle containing a few drops of storage solution. Before returning the electrode to use, prepare it as a new electrode.
