The key message with the new Bluetooth enabled range is, it will give the end user improved connectivity options to fridge temperature monitoring information. This will be critical for compliance and ultimately cost saving from drug wastage perspective.

The fridge is designed to be operated in the usual way via the touch screen external temperature controller, (read and reset min / max temperature readings etc.), however the new range also offers the extra below benefits, should you wish to use the Bluetooth capabilities.

• Bluetooth Enabled – Allows the user to connect to the appliance via the Lec Medical App, simply download the App to your device. The Bluetooth enabled software continuously monitors, records and automatically stores temperature readings and alarm history, to reveal where blame lies if temperature fluctuations and incidents activate the alarms, such as a door being left open. The temperature history and alarm history can be downloaded / emailed as and when required. The user can also read and reset temperature readings and change temperature set points via the App.
• Power Failure Alarm with Battery Back-Up and Rechargeable Battery – Keeps monitoring and automatically storing temperature readings and alarm history, in the event of a power cut.
• Intelligent Fan Management for Enhanced Performance – The fan cuts out when the door is opened and will cut back in as and when required aiding in more stable temperature control.
• Remote Alarm Contacts - Enables the user to connect to a remote-control station which will alert personnel elsewhere in the facility, in the event of a door open alarm, high or low temperature alarm or power failure, offering 24/7 monitoring.
• Audible and Visual open-door alarm – Alerts you when the door is left open
