Description
Polydimethylsiloxane trimethylsiloxy terminated, is widely used as a surfactant, as a component of defoamers which are used to suppress the formation of foams. It is also used as a critical ingredient in water-repelling coatings. It is used as an active silicone fluid, as a stamp resin in the procedure of soft lithography, in optic telecommunications, in biomedical research, as elasticity of polymer networks, as adhesive materials and in skin-moisturizing lotions. It plays an important role in filler fluid in breast implants and as a sorbent for the analysis of headspace of food.
