Description

The stalk sampler is a sampler specially designed for hay, silage, straw, herbs, shrubs or other dry, stalky plant material where other samplers quickly become tangled. The special geometry of the auger tip cuts effectively and quickly into various stalky materials.

The hay and silage sampling auger takes samples from a silo or bale quickly, cleanly and easily. Sampling with mechanical assistance from a drill or powerful cordless screwdriver allows easy removal of the sample with little manual effort. The sampling auger can be used vertically (top sampling) or horizontally (side sampling). The robust and durable tubular screw is made entirely of stainless steel 1.4404/1.4034 or aluminium/stainless steel 1.4034. The handy ejector helps to empty the sample from the auger.
