Sartorius 1.4mm thick absorbent pads are wetted with the appropriate liquid culture medium before a membrane filter is placed on them. They come presterilized in plastic magazines, which fit onto the Sartorius manual dispensing device.

The absorbent pads are available in two diameters:

  • 47mm has approx. 3ml absorption capacity
  • 50mm with approx. 3.5ml absorption capacity
