These SilTite μ-Union ferrules provide a chemically inert, metal-to-metal seal for connecting capillary GC columns of 0.1 to 0.25 mm ID to 0.32 mm ID tubing. They enable leak-free, zero-dead-volume column junctions - essential for high-precision GC/GC-MS work.

  • Eliminate leaks with the Thermo Scientific™ SilTite Ferrule, which forms a strong, permanent, airtight seal around the capillary column.
  • SilTite metal ferrules and nuts are made from the same material and have the same thermal expansion coefficient.
  • Base of the ferrule is flat and forms a perfect seal with the MS interface.
  • The ferrule's temperature tolerance is well above the limit of the injector, MS interface or GC oven.
  • Unlike other ferrules, do not need re-tightening after installation.
