Use with whole blood or EDTA plasma sample. BD Vacutainer™ Plastic K2EDTA Tube with Lavender Hemogard™ closure includes the coagulant K2 which is a liquid solution that is spray coated onto the tubes.

EDTA is spray coated onto the interior surface of the Vacutainer Tube
  • It acts as a coagulant
  • Available in sizes 3ml, 4ml, 6ml and 10ml
  • The difference between K2EDTA and K3EDTA is that the K3 is a liquid solution in the tubes, whereas the K2 is a liquid solution that is spray coated onto the tubes
