Description
Tube furnaces provide enhanced thermal uniformity and with the addition of a ceramic work tube and seals, the flexibility to allow materials to be tested under various atmospheric conditions.
Typical applications include research tests on inorganic materials, which can be cost effectively carried out in air or in a non-oxidising atmosphere; such as nitrogen or argon or in a vacuum.
The enhanced thermal uniformity is ideal for thermocouple calibration and single zone or three zone design are available. Please enquire for more details of the tube furnace range, as there are more sizes and types than this space allows.
• Symmetrical heating element design ensures improved thermal uniformity compared to chamber furnaces
• Tube furnace range can accept work tubes from 20mm to 150mm in diameter
• Seven heated lengths from 300mm to 1,200mm are available
• Horizontal base mounting is normal, but vertical and split designs are available, with a separate control box
