Purified recombinant streptavidin enables detection of biotinylated antibodies and other probes in a variety of standard assay methods including western blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and fluorescence imaging.
eBioscience Streptavidin Super Bright 645 is a streptavidin-fluorochrome conjugate for indirect staining protocols to detect biotinylated primary antibodies in flow cytometry.
LanthaScreen™ Tb-Streptavidin is supplied at 1 mg/ml and contains the streptavidin in HEPES buffered saline, 400 μl of the fluorescein-labeled, biotinylated peptide for use as a positive control, and 100 ml of TR-FRET Dilution Buffer. Store components as indicated in the product Certificate of Analysis (-20°C, or +20-30°C).
Streptavidin is provided in lyophilized form in 10 mM phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4. Reconstitute with 1 ml of distilled or deionized water. Store at 4°C.
Perform Western blot, ELISA or other biotin-based detection with purified and HRP-, AP-, FITC-, TRITC-, PE- or APC-conjugated or maleimide-/hydrazide-activated streptavidin.
