Applied Biosystems™ MicroAmp™ Optical Adhesive Film

Applied Biosystems MicroAmp Optical Adhesive Film is designed to reduce well-to-well contamination and sample evaporation. The easy-to-use film is applied by peeling away the backing and firmly pressing the adhesive film across the top of a microplate. This tight seal will help ensure consistent real-time PCR data without obscuring samples during reading, and the protective covering allows microplates to be more easily stacked for space-saving convenience and storage.

Thermo Fisher Scientific has performed exhaustive functional testing regarding minor visual inconsistencies (e.g., wrinkles, line impressions, haziness, white spots, etc.) of the MicroAmp Optical Adhesive Film that may result from removal of the liner or application to a plate.
