Invitrogen™ Complement Factor H Monoclonal Antibody (C18/3)

Description
GAU 018-03-02 detects factor H in human samples. GAU 018-03-02 has been successfully used in ELISA and Western blot procedures. GAU 018-03-02 can be used as a capture antibody in sandwich ELISA with GAU 020-03-02 as detection antibody. This antibody pair is specific for the ~150 kDa factor H protein.
Factor H is a serum protein acting as an inhibitor in the complement activation system. I activates the C3/C5 convertase by dissociating its subunits and also acts as a cofactor for the enzyme activity of Factor I.
