  • It acts by binding to the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome leading to inhibition of protein synthesis and death in susceptible bacteria
  • Gibco™ Gentamicin is effective against a wide variety of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, and is used to prevent the contamination of cell cultures by bacteria
  • The recommended working concentration ranges from 0.5 to 50 μg /mL
