Description

MA1-24775 detects IGFBP1 from human samples. MA1-24775 has been successfully used in neutralization, ELISA , and Western blot procedures. The Neutralization Dose50 (ND50) for this antibody is 10-40 μg/mL in the presence of approximately 5 μg/mL of recombit human IGFBP1 and approximately 6 ng/mL of recombit human IGF1, using human MCF7 cells. This gene is a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family and encodes a protein with an IGFBP domain and a thyroglobulin type-I domain. The protein binds both insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) I and II and circulates in the plasma. Binding of this protein prolongs the half-life of the IGFs and alters their interaction with cell surface receptors.
