Description
The scFv antibody stabilizes GPCR/G-protein complexes for cryo-EM of active structures. It recognizes an interface between G alpha and G beta/gamma subunits, and confers resistance to nucleotide exchange-triggered dissociation of the heterotrimeric G-protein. In addition to members of the Gi/o family, this antibody fragment can also be applied to chimeric variants and stabilize other G-protein subtypes including Gs complexes.
